Variable Wind Solutions (VWS), a privately-held company established in 2005, develops innovative, proprietary technologies and products that enable superior turbine output in low and variable-speed winds. By integrating its proprietary, proven VRS technology, Variable Wind Solutions' VWS-X Series of low-RPM, variable-speed power generation solution is the industry’s first gearless, variable-speed AC synchronous generator-based system specifically designed for optimal performance in variable and low-speed winds. These solutions for small and large turbines alike enable superior performance and reliability, with reduced cost and complexity.
